(Columbus, OH) --The Watkins Printing Company selects Apogee X as its new workflow system. The AGFA product will update Watkins' Prepress department and workflow, allowing the following exciting capabilities:
Remote Proofing/ Web Approval
Remote proofing will allow our clients to view and approve all pages electronically at your designated location of choice.
The client will be emailed when files are ready to view, at which time, through Watkins' secure website, you can access the High Resolution PDFs residing on our server for approval. These are the actual files that will go to plate.
Sublima's Advanced Screening
Sublima's Advanced Screening Technology uses greater line frequencies, which reduce the risk of subject moire' and significantly enhances image detail and color. Flat tints will appear soft and smooth and will look as if they were printed in a spot color. The addition of Sublima's Advanced Screening Technology is an easy, cost effective way to improve quality without affecting your production operations.
